Selling ancient HVAC parts has been a activity of mine for a few years now.
- It started out when I would go with my dad on trips as well as he would repair up AC units on the side.
He used to be an HVAC worker, so he would check the internet as well as find people that needed to hire someone to repair their heating as well as cooling systems. His HVAC work would pay for our whole trip in just a few seconds! I was always so impressed by this so I found a way to contribute. When the people I was with and I were on our trips, I would stop by the junkyard as well as pick up ancient HVAC units. Then I would take them apart as well as have a whole inventory of ancient HVAC parts. I then started an online selling account as well as I would sell HVAC parts from the road! The people I was with and I ended up making so much money between the more than 2 of us, that the people I was with and I took trips for years. The people I was with and I enjoyed the bizarre little HVAC company the people I was with and I had, as well as the people I was with and I started to get tons of referrals, my dad even hired another HVAC worker just to help fulfill all of the calls the people I was with and I were getting. What started out as a activity selling HVAC parts turned into a full time business; After awhile I got pretty tired of laboring with air conditioners as well as the prefer so I stopped doing the business. Now I just do it part time, because I realized that it’s pretty fun on a small scale. When I’m doing it all the time, I am not a big fan. I will unquestionably get my HVAC parts company to be respected as well as just hire someone to do what I am doing.
The first marketing I ever had was for my friends Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business, plus it was pretty cool; He didn’t pay me, but he installed a smart temperature control in my lake house for free, so it was a wonderful trade! I got some experience building ad campaigns, plus he got a ton more shoppers for his Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business.
In fact, after I did the campaign, which was an AC installation special, he got 340% more calls that week.
He told myself and others he had to hire 5 new Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professionals just to fulfill all of the toil order he had… Now his Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company is sizable, he had Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C companies in 5 states. I love to suppose that my marketing toil is section of the reason that his Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company is doing so well. He does all of my AC repairs for me, he is pretty grateful that I helped him. I am glad that I get free repairs on my heating plus cooling plan because those services can be pretty expensive. He even has an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional that comes out just to do routine repair twice a year! I’ve gotten so several energy saving tips from him, plus my energy bill is the lowest it’s ever been. Whenever my friends ask myself and others for Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company recommendations I consistently point them his way, plus he does the same for my marketing business, but the two of us are both doing entirely well, plus I thank him nearly everyday for my smart temperature control. I can turn it on before I get lake house plus cool down my whole house. I love that thing!

When I got a flat on the road, I was really upset and called my husband for help.
He basically told me that I needed to call up AAA to have them come out and repair the flat for me. He told me that they would be there in a jiffy but I told him the air conditioning in the car was also not working. He said to just tell them about that as well and they would likely be able to fix the problem. I was confused because I thought I would need a climate control professional to repair the climate control system. So I contacted AAA and told them I was stuck on the road with a flat and my A/C was not working. They said they would be out in no time and to just relax with the windows rolled down. So while I was waiting, I was just listening to my favorite radio station. I was really getting overheated and I couldn’t wait for them to get there already. Well, they arrived in 15 minutes from my phone call which I thought was pretty good timing. The first thing they did before repairing the flat was have me open the hood. They went to the A/C compressor and filled it up with refrigerant with some little nifty refrigerant kit. When they charged up the A/C compressor, they told me to turn the car on so I could get the A/C going so I wouldn’t be dying from heat exhaustion. I was shocked when the A/C was ice-cold again! They took care of my flat tire in no time and before I knew it, I was good to go on the road again! I’m glad we have AAA!
Not too long ago, I attended this HVAC seminar that included everything you needed to know to take care of your HVAC system, various kinds of HVAC upgrades, and also there were energy saving tips. This was a very interesting seminar and I learned all kinds of important stuff. I really liked when they were talking about the HVAC system maintenance plans, as that seems like a great way to save a sizable amount of money while still getting all your needed HVAC system maintenance at the same time. I also liked the fact that you get priority scheduling when you enroll in one of these HVAC system maintenance plans. The energy saving tips were absolutely fantastic. I learned all kinds of ways to save energy in our home like adding awnings to the house to have more shade, trees, blackout curtains, and various other interesting techniques. By the end of the seminar, I had pages of notes that I would definitely be studying and putting to use in our household! I was even thinking about what type of HVAC upgrade we would want to go for. I was especially interested in radiant heated floors, HVAC zone control, and a smart thermostat. I came to learn that with a smart thermostat you can easily save up to 15% on the energy bills, and you can control your HVAC system remotely! I honestly felt like I learned a lifetime’s worth of information just by attending this one seminar. I was really excited to start saving all kinds of money with the wealth of information I gained.
Every year I like to give my daughter a special gift, something important and not just a thing I picked up at a store.
Anyone can go to a store and buy something, I want to give her something truly unique to enrich her life.
This year I am planning to rejigger the two car garage and turn it into a full art studio for her. She spend a lot of time at the kitchen table drawing and painting, so I want to give her the chance to succeed with a real studio setting. Before I can buy the art supplies or the canvases, I need to get some climate control out there. Of course the garage is not connected to the same ductwork as the rest of the house, because who wants to put AC in the garage? I had an HVAC company come out and look around for me, but the cost to refit the air ducts seemed a little high to me. Instead of going that route I decided to get a small, portable air conditioner and a space heater. This way my daughter won’t have to worry about the thermostat in the house, she will have total control over the temperature in her studio. I really want her to feel like it is her space, and only hers, so not sharing a thermostat with her uncool parents is the right move. The best part of all this is that I don’t need HVAC techs to come out and install anything, I can buy it, plug it in, and we are good to go!

Praise the lord and pass the ammunition, the tax refund check has finally arrived! Forgive my exuberance but I have been waiting for a while now, and this money is sorely needed.
Of course it is always sorely needed, and it seems every year I wait with baited breath for it to show up so I can immediately spend it all.
Not that I ever get to spend it on something fun but I always have it in time to save my butt, it seems. Last year the check came in three days after my car broke down. This year all the funds are earmarked for A/C and heating repairs, which have been sorely needed for some time. I knew when I moved in that all the HVAC equipment was out of date, and I agreed to it because the asking price was very reasonable. The fact that I was able to get almost 5 years of service out of this old air conditioner and even older furnace is truly a bit of luck. So I am certainly not complaining about getting it fixed, I just need that check in my hand before I can call the HVAC company to send someone out. I have already had them come out and do an inspection of all my ductwork and equipment, and gotten a price estimate and a time estimate. All I need is the money in my account, and the HVAC work crew will remove all the garbage old equipment, clean out the ducts, and get me all set up with new gear.
The buzz about town is all surrounding the Grand Opening of the new Mexican restaurant.
We have several pizzarias, burger joints, and even a couple of Chinese places which are great but it is time for a change.
We have never had any sort of Mexican place, ever. The idea of having a great place to get a taco or margarita is very exciting. They have a beautiful patio area too so we can hang out during the summer with friends well into the night. I only hope that they have a plan for that area during the cooler months. If they enclose it, even with those tent type walls, and purchase some quality patio heaters it will be usable well into the early winter months. Our coldest days only go down into the upper forties so having that heat source should be sufficient. They could even host a Dia De Muerto party to celebrate the Day of the Dead in October. That would be much more exciting than your typical Halloween party. The opening was scheduled for the second week of June but they just announced that it will be delayed by a few weeks. They are still working out some of the details and the air conditioning was just installed. They want everything to be perfect so that once they are open for business there will be no reason for their customers to feel uncomfortable and they will all want to come back again and again. I am eager to be one of those customers and will be one of the first in line on opening day.

Each year, during a break from school, my grandchildren come to visit for two weeks.
I have three grandsons and one granddaughter and they are between the ages of six and eleven.
Entertaining them for the entire time takes a lot of energy for sure. My granddaughter, the six year old is easy because she loves to help in the kitchen. The boys, however, can be more difficult. My husband tries to plan projects that they can help with like small repairs around the house or building some simple shelving and such. This year he wanted to teach them about some home maintenance things so they could understand things better when they got older. The youngest one is great at fetching the right tools when asked but doesn’t really have the attention span needed to stick to any job for long. The eleven year old, however, is fascinated by anything mechanical. He has a real knack for problem solving too. I can see him going into some sort of work that involves his hands, maybe a mechanic or technician of some sort. One to the things they worked on over this past week was installing the window air conditioners for the upcoming summer. Each year my husband has to rebuild the holder for the units and put them in place. Then he has to put the insulation around them so that they are more energy efficient. Our grandson is a big help with all the steps. He is learning so much that he will be able to take care of his own place one day without a problem. I still remember the first year he helped out with the window units. He just wanted to push the buttons on the front and he turned one of them on before it was fully installed. It scared him when it roared to life and they both learned that plugging them in was the last step of the process from then on.
My niece plays softball for a local community college.
- She has games on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and my wife and I try to go to one each week.
She is a very talented individual, and she has been playing softball ever since she was 8 years old. She got a scholarship to attend college for softball, and she is studying to become a physical therapist. I’m really proud of my niece, and we do our best to support her dreams. Last weekend, my wife and I decided to attend a softball tournament. The tournament was a few hours from our home, so we rented a cheap hotel room in town. My wife and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for the hotel room, because we would be at the tournament all day and most of the evening. We probably should have taken more time to choose the hotel, because we ended up with problems. Shortly after my wife and I checked into the room, the HVAC unit started leaking. At first it was a drop.or two every twenty minutes. By the time we were getting ready to go to bed, there was a significant puddle of goo on the floor. The HVAC unit seemed to be working fine, so my wife and I threw a towel over the goo and went to sleep. Around 4 in the morning, my wife woke up and realized the HVAC unit wasn’t working. It was stifling hot inside of the room, and the entire towel was soaked in brown goo. My wife and I had to switch rooms, so they could work on the HVAC unit during the day. At least the new HVAC unit was quieter, and it wasn’t leaking any substances on the floor.
In my field of expertise, we are always much busier during the summer months than the winter months.
- Most of the reason is the area where I live.
I specialize in AC repair, installation, and set up. During the summer months, we are always busy with AC repairs, setups, and installations. We start to get busy in the middle of March, when everyone is calling for the annual AC check up. After that, we stay consistently busy until the end of October. We still have 90 degree days in November, but they are few and far between. Last July, I was extremely busy. I was training a new HVAC employee, and my girlfriend and I just had a baby. I was getting up at night, so my girlfriend didn’t have to be alone. It was rough to get up at 4 in the morning, and then work all day in the heat. Halfway through the month, I was working on an AC installation job and fainted. Thankfully, the customer was outside when the medical problem occurred. I almost fell down the stairs, and I didn’t wake up until a paramedic was staring in my face. At that point, my boss told me to take a week of vacation time. I was clearly working too much, and it was starting to affect my health. It’s difficult to be an AC repair person in July, especially when you live in a tropical zone. Next summer, I’m going to be a lot more careful. If I’m going to be out all day on an AC repair or installation job, then I’m going to stay well hydrated and take multiple breaks.
