Hotel heating and air

My wife and I enjoy travelling.

These past few years we have done entirely well for ourselves so we have been taking more getaways.

We treat ourselves to finer diners and hotels because we are able to afford these things now. We don’t have any kids right now either so we are trying to take advantage of the time we have together while we have extra cash to spend on getaways. Going on costly getaways was not always the norm for us. We have been to several motels and eaten at gas stations before…I vividly remember one time that was horrible. We decided we wanted to take a long road trip around the country, so in order to save some cash we booked genuinely cheap motels along the way. We cared about was seeing the country not where we were staying. In this hotel the heating and cooling idea didn’t work at all. We were in the desert so it got really hot during the morning and freezing cold at evening. There was no air conditioning at all coming out of the vents when we wanted to cool off in the room.In the evening the heating idea smelled like something was on fire. I called the front desk and asked about the heating and cooling idea and they said it was this way in every room. I think you get what you pay for when it comes to hotels because now all the hotels we stay in have a top of the line heating and cooling systems.
