If I can figure out these things, I will no longer need to spend my money for cooling appliance services, I will be able to take care of all the work
Every year I am getting quite a bit better at cleaning my AC appliance. I actually used to just call up a Heating and Air Conditioning appliance worker and have a worker do the tune up. Cooling appliance tune up is not exactly high-priced and undoubtedly necessary. I don’t mind the time, effort and money spent on it. However, I would easily appreciate to learn a new skill, and so slowly I have been figuring out how to maintain my own cooling appliance. I started out just by switching my air filter every single month. I felt so amazed by that. Then I managed to learn how to take the AC appliance apart to vacuum and wipe the inside of it. Next I figured out that the cooling coil gets mold all over it frequently. I now frequently clean that whole area. I then discovered that the reason my AC appliance leaks occasionally is because of a clog in the condensate drain, most often algae. I have cleaned that up from time to time. Now I am moving into liquids. I have added refrigerant to the HVAC appliance and lubrication to the fan motor belt. I guess the next step is being able to deduce worn or rusted parts. Then I will need to find various replacement parts and make the AC appliance repair. If I can figure out these things, I will no longer need to spend my money for cooling appliance services, I will be able to take care of all the work. That is a long time coming though. It is one thing to clean a dirty system, another to service an actual cooling appliance. I don’t know for certain that I have the necessary skill set.
